German pop project et cetera have recently teamed up with Allan Clarke to produce a new version of Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress). The song is actually sung by Belle De Wein and Allan is featured playing the famous guitar sound.

Due for release on October 11th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland only,
the CD single contains 5 different mixes of Long Cool Woman

The song is already getting air play and has been chosen to represent Germany on a compilation CD issued by the prestigious European Music/Media industry magazine, FONO.

There are several other mixes available on two separate CD's produced for promotional use only and to be played in dance clubs. These include a German version of the song, re-written by et cetera, titled "Mehr als (D)eine Frau".

The concept of Ulli Eichblatt, et cetera have already had success with Killing Me Softly and Break My Stride and have performed widely throughout Germany.

Ulli has also been involved with a variety of successful performers including Haddaway, Tony Christie, George McCrae, Terry Jacks and Terry Sylvester.

The song is to be promoted on two confirmed German TV shows, NBC Giga on October 19 and Chart Attack on ZDF on October 21.

et cetera are preparing some more songs for their debut album which is due for release in early 2001. Allan Clarke is scheduled to appear on some of the tracks.
